Hosting my Soul on a Machine
Home pages. My first home page was on my BBS dial-up server which ran Magpie software and had Extended ASCII graphics, those little lines, corners, and double lines. I was there in the machine (Intel 8088 CPU, 10Mb Hard Drive), as well as I could express myself in an 8-bit 2400bps world. Then the web happened in 1992 or 3 and I settled into my.yahoo.com, it was a reflective time. I evolved my web page on clicky.ca, now dead to me. I'm lingering here on sunmail. ca lately and thanks to Blogger it's easy to serialize some thoughts and so a bigger piece of me is hosted, by chronichosting.com probably on some Sun Netra (if I'm lucky) in a server farm in some data centre in Montreal.

For what it's worth........check out this blog:

From a lurker/sometime poster perspective, it is much easier to use than the 'blogger' layout.
It show's recent comments made to any post, etc. Which is a nice touch.
