William Burroughs: First Blogger

The author William Burroughs wrote dispatches that, after being cut-up and rearannged became novels like Naked Lunch. Seriously, doesn't that sound like a blog title? His dispatches typed faithfully into his Smith-Corona bug/typewriter were written for Interzone, which sounds a lot like Internet, and this was back in the 1950's.

The cut-up technique involved scissoring the typed pages and rearranging paragraphs, this is almost the same effect as posting/searching blogs.
