I want my MP3

Bill Moyers did a great show on PBS about Net Neutrality. The part that worried me most is how Japan and other countries have 100Mbps to the home, and America's internet is falling behind.
The short story is the big carriers were supposed to build the 'superhighway' internet and Congress gave them big tax breaks to do it. They also let the industry draft new regulations for itself so they could end up gouging customers and not building the 'superhighway'.

So now big telecom carriers want to build the 'superhighway' internet and keep is as a censored, special network, like AOL owning the entire network. The 'old' internet (the one we have now) would be open for free speech and wierdo;s like me.

The reason we need a faster network: video.
