Black Eyed Peace

Friends against Black Eyed Peas is a group of people opposed to the Black Eyed Peas concert Septemeber 3rd in Alexandra, PEI. That last link is actually the wrong address printed in the Guardian, but someone picked up the address and pointed to the right page. In PEI, newspaper misprints are often passive aggressive attempts by some inside person at the Guardian trying to thwart something.

Since the PEI government decided to let the concert promoters keep the provincial tax on ticket sales (10% x 20,000 tickets @ $50 = $100,000)

The government should have directed that tax money to security and cleanup, keep the locals happy. Now that Binns has hitched his star to HIP-HOP, he may have jaded his conservative base. LOL.
