Six Diodes Later...

I hooked up my trailer lights, but couldn't get the park, brake, left, right wires from the car to the trailer, it has only three wires. So I went with brakes & left/right signals; no park lights. Park lights or running lights, you know the lights that come on before the headlights. Anyway, I ended up using some diodes from radio shack to combine the brakes & L/R signals.

So now the brake lights kind of jam the signalling, so I added a couple more diodes in series to dim the brake lights about 1.4 volts lower than the signal lights. Now when the brake lights jam the signal, the signal pulses brighter which is cool looking.
