Tyne Valley, Halifax Parith

I can't resist reading from MacPhails Woods website this island history...

200 years ago in 1806 a map of PEI was drawn with a total of 1,3810,000 acres divided into three counties:
King's County - - - - - - - 4,16000 acres
Queen's County - - - - - - - 4,94000
Prince County - - - - - - - 4,71000
--------
Total- - - - - - - 1,381000

Each county had it's own town:
Charlotte Town, George Town and Prince Town.

Are all these acres still here or has erosion shrunk our lot in the St Lawrence? Maybe PEI grew in acreage - considering the waterfront expansion in Summerside where land was reclaimed from Halifax Bay (Know today as Bedeque Bay).

Also, Tyne Valley was in between what was called in 1806 Halifax Parith & Dartmouth Town

If only, eh?

Lennox Island was still Lennox Island 200 years ago.
