Honolulu: Paradise Spoiled

I have been here in Honolulu less than a day, so this is a very early opinion.
This place sucks! As expensive as NYC, as much crime as Detroit, and as much decay as New Orleans, as much traffic as LA.

Maybe it is becuase of the 8 hour flight from Minneapolis, or because I saw it at night. But if you are thinking of coming to Honolulu, don't. Save your money and time and go to the Carribean.

I know the other islands like Maui are less polluted by big city problems, but this trip I am stuck in Honolulu. And in traffic for 45 minutes going 14 miles. I really hope it gets better than this.

My friend had his car broken into.
I pay $18 a day to park.
Breakfast cost $10 each person.
Too many dopey tourists.
Sad grey/black grime on everything.
Hotel room is painted pea green, very gross.
The average speed on the 'interstate' is 25 MPH.

At least work is paying for this expensive lesson.
