Enclaves

What are enclaves? Don't answer. I don't really want to know as much as you want to show that you know, those who know the word or those who looked it up.
It is like not wanting to upgrade to the next release. Who wants to restart or reboot when everything thing is working fine already...the new release may have more ads, a glitch, or take away some feature I've grown to like.

If I stay with the same things I know there is less room for growth. I become a pickle. An artifact. Eventually I would be stuck with windows 3.1 and nobody would support me. It's just that I have my own idea what an enclave is, would a dictionary clear that up, reinforce it, or shatter what enclave means to me. I'd have to abandon my own idea of the word to the standard idea of the word leaving me with a wordless meaning.

Seriously, enclave is just an example. I don't care what it's dictionary meaning is, I worry about losing my idea of what it means to me.
