I'm Coining a Phrase: Spam Reporter

Too much time on my hands I guess, so I Photoshopped a nice graphic to go with this inane post. Actually it only took a few minutes to find an image of a coin, and for the first time I arced my text in Photoshop.

A "Spam Reporter" is what I am when I use Gmail and check off all the spam's in my inbox, then click Report Spam. There is something very satisfying about sending the spam messages somewhere to be dealt with, what happens when they are reported?

Google says they use it to improve algorithyms for detecting future spam which is probably one of the reasons Gmail is the best at deleting spam. Once the information is extracted from the spam it's my hope that it receives a fair trial from a sovereign government ending in terminated.

Spam Reporters of the world are winning the war on junk emails.

Another meaning of the phrase could be to describe wanna-be journalists who blog. If you consider this post to be news, then please consider me a Spam Reporter.

Although not without doubt, It seems that with the newest version of Hotmail, when I 'report & delete' the spam, it has INCREASED the amount I receive.
It is satisfying to think that somehow we are foot soldiers in the war on evil spam, & that collectively the humans could someday win....but maybe Bill Gates is using my Report & Delete against me in some twisted counter spam espionage tactic?
