Beaver Lodges: Louisiana vs. PEI

Deville is a small place, about 25 minutes from Alexandria.
Tyne Valley is a small place about 25 minutes from Summerside.

Both have beaver lodges, fast food (AW's Takeout, Kenny's Dairy Bar).

Just some odd parallels between two very distant places.

Thanks to Caroll for taking us on a great boat ride back through Cross Bayou island and to Bebe Lake, which is a lot bigger than Yeo's Pond. The beaver lodges look about the same. Different wood though: spruce & birch or cypress and oak. Who knew beavers ranged so far and wide?

Great photos. I've also come across a few good lodges close to my place outside of Montague & as I've travelled across Canada. But the ones out here in Grey Owl's old stompin' grounds of Prince Albert National Park have to be the most advanced;

And as far as I know there's no takers on the property yet!
