My Fantasy Wifi Router: WRETP54GBT

Linksys, you are so close!
The WRTP54G Wireless-G Broadband Router with 2 Phone Ports almost does everything I'd like: Fast wifi, and two phone lines (from Vonage by default).
Biggest wish I have: can I use it in hotels with wi-fi only? Please add a Wireless Bridge, with a seperate antenna input and a nice 12db pocket size directional antenna; effectively creating a wifi - wifi repeater station. Then, go all the way and put one of those phone jacks instead to blue-tooth radio link so I can use my little blue-tooth headset to talk. I'd even ask for a small telephone keypad, if that's not going too far...is it? It's be so sweet!
I believe it would be called WRETP54GBT. Build it and I will come. Buy one.
I have all this functionality hobbled together now, but it requires three Linksys routers (WET54G wifi bridge, RT41P2 Vonage Phonejack, and WRT54G), my tiny little landline phone, a Jabra Bluetooth converter, and my jabra headset.
In fact, my fantasy device, the WRETP54GBT, is capable of building it's own network, a mesh network. So, why not include in it a 'mesh networking' protocol that could seek and auto-interconnect with other WRETP54GBT's and also provide a DNS service, a directory, and a means of providing QoS for voice, and secure channels mixed with open channels on the same device. Then we could all buy one, and an entire neighbourhood/city could be networked by the people for the people. Have I gone too far with this idea? It is after all a fantasy.
