Misconfigured Nortel PBX, at Nortel
It's the little things that count. Today, calling my toll free number from a phone in a conference room at Galyton D I get the announcement: 'Long distance restricted, please use calling card or toll free number'
My toll free number starts with 877, which is tollfree, just not recognized by the PBX which I know will pass a traditional 800 toll free number. The point is this is a telecom company, come on Nortel, keep up.
I'm a contractor, so requesting a change to the PBX toll free screening won't get far with me doing it. I wonder if they'll get their PBX current, I know it's a small detail but it is a telecom detail.
