Meta-Troubleshooting Big Concept 1
Troubleshooting is like detective work. Something breaks. Someone notices and:
- They try to fix it if they know how
- They hide it
- They call for help
This is usually where I come in and begin to troubleshoot, unless I was the one who noticed (being the mindful administrator who checks his charges daily); Or worse, I was the one who broke it (my sister's 8 track player, circa 1978).
I've been doing it that long - troubleshooting.
Big Concept 1: Heat and People are the two first suspects. Check the tempurature, is it/he/she running hot? Next, think about what people related to it have been doing lately, because chances are somebody did something that caused it to break. This is the detective part. Ask questions, probe.
Stay tuned for Big Concept 2.
