Democracy: Will of the People.

The Palistinian election result gives Hamas the mandate to rule Palestine. However, Hamas is a terrorist group according to the US and Israel. Wether that is true or not I have no idea, but the election raises a question: what to do when a democratic outcome results in a threatening or malicious leadership? What if the Democratic will of the people is to murder everyone in the state next door? It's still democracy, right?

Maybe the question raised is what leads a nation to elect a government that wants to destroy another country? The will of the people has been expressed.
