US Medicare Solution: veterinarians

Instead of leaving so many of it's citizens with no medical insurance, I thought of a starting point in the debate on US healthcare. Veterinarian care for people, as a baseline minimum. This would close the unfair gap between the care given to many American pets and the uninsured. It worked for the Trailer Park Boys, right?
